„What angels tell – messages connect cultures“
As part of its current micro-project „Gestures as Mediators between Cultures“ of the Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, the Fraktalwerk project space invites you to participate in its International Photo Challenge 2022. Anyone who wants to show with pictures and say: „This angel’s message spoke to me in a special way“ could send in up to two photos until 30 April 2022.
Interested parties can find details about the Challenge on the project’s website: www.entangelments.de. Selected photos will be exhibited as part of exhibitions of the Fraktalwerk project space for the Capital of Culture 2025 in Chemnitz, for the first time in July 2022 at the Chemnitz Garage Campus.
The micro-project sponsored by the Capital of Culture Office – Chemnitz 2025 of the Cultural Department of the City of Chemnitz and the Sparkasse Chemnitz has several parts. Since February 2022, all interested people over 18 years of age all over the world and especially in the twin cities of Chemnitz have been invited to participate in the international photo challenge on the topic. A gesture and dance workshop was held on May, 7th and 8th 2022 on the Chemnitz garage campus. In July 2022, performances and dance as well as photos from the project will be shown at the Chemnitz Garage Campus, in which artists and non-artists explore the language of angels together. Fraktalwerk will provide information about all this and about thoughts and stories about gestures in art, science, religion and society at www.entangelments.de and in social media channels of the project space.
