Art and Sparkasse

Last week, all the artists involved in the project met in Chemnitz and immersed themselves in the “Language of Angels” for four days. We danced, talked, rehearsed, wrote, photographed and installed; we visited churches and cemeteries and – with a view to our exhibition next year – toured them; we enjoyed our time together very much and at the same time made contacts with other artists, organisations and institutions whose cooperation we can look forward to in the future. Among others, the Sparkasse has assured us of its support within the framework of the Capital of Culture concept Chemnitz#2025 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Thomas Rauscher most sincerely for his time and personal commitment to our project on the “Language of Angels”. It is a very nice and (inter-)culturally promising sign of this great bank to commit itself to a participatory art project like ours, and thus to connect and harmonise art and business not only in an aesthetic way.
We look forward to a creative and productive cooperation with the KulturhauptstadtSparkasse 2025!
