Blue Movement

A lost place.

An old hall, the floor covered with chipped concrete, rusty metal screws sticking up, under loose stones – no, not a beach – only older layers of concrete. Loose cables protrude from the walls, long outdated pipes lie on plaster and have not carried any energy here for a long time. Light falls through the dirt-encrusted skylights, thousands of dust grains dampening it into a shimmering curtain. Two cracked washbasins defy any idea of hygiene and the old motorbike would need a very thorough restoration.

Then, suddenly: music. A body in a blue work overall makes contact with the place. In the middle of the light dust plumes, the dancer reaches out, pulls it towards her and looks at it. Only visible to her eyes, she overcomes limitations, stretches and compresses the air around her. Each stoper trap her sure steps dance and smooth the uneven floor. Walls, floor, ceiling – she creates her own space with her movements. Her space. A space that will dream when she has left it.

No longer a lost place.
